Why do we have seasons?
1) The earth's tilt on its axis. as the earth spins it is on a tilt twoards the sun.In summer we are closest to the sun and as we move away from it it gets colder and colder.
2)As the earth tilts the way the sun rises and sets differently. It always rises in the east and sets in the west but the wasy we see it on flat ground, the angle that it risesat may seem farther north or south. That may have an effect on the seasons.
3)The longer the sun stays up the warmer it gets. The days length that the sun is out has some effect on the seasons, but the length of day depends on the earths tilt on its axis.
