What causes seasons?

I think one reason is, because of the axial tilt when it is spring and summer we are closer to the sun which means it will be warmer, in the fall and winter we are pointed away from the sun so it is colder out in June we are the closest to the sun so it is warm out and in Janruary it is the farthest from the sun so it is cold.  Another reason is that in the summer more sunlight is reaching the ground and in the winter less sunlight. One more reason is because in the winter the northern hemisphere is in like a shadow and in the summer it is not.
