On page #37 is the paper in our binder.

We lit something to make smoke or air. The smoke went in the tube. When the smoke hit

the ice it cooled rapidly making it fall into the bottom of the chamber. But when the

smoke hit the lit candle the smoke got heated rapidly making it go up the chamber

and it goes to the ice again making the whole prosses again (Cicle.)

Good start...explain how density plays a part in this....how are the molecule reacting??

Density plays a part in this by- When the smoke hit the ice it got more dense than

the air around it so it sinks to the bottom of the chamber.  When the smoke gets

torge the candel it heats up then the smoke goes up.

Molecular motion plays a part in this by- When the smoke is denser than the air

around it the moliculs are in a slow movement and closer together.  When the smoke

is less dense the moliculs are moving very fast and they are spread a part.
