How does water "turn into" steam? You used the terms dew point and saturated...what do they mean. What happens when water vapor condenses...remember..taking a test is showing me what you know....what do al of these terms mean? 2/4
The water from the shower turned into steam, or water vapor. It turned turned into
steam because it became hot and evaporated. The air reached its dew point and
it became saturated. Dew point is when the air holds as much water
vapor as possible (saturated). The water vapor then condensed onto the
mirror and turned to liquid. The water vapor turns from a gas back into a liquid
because it cooled off.
